Reprodux Limited Attains FSC and SFI Certifications
Reprodux Limited, a leading Toronto based print, copy, and document solutions provider, recently announced it received both Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certifications. By achieving these certifications, Reprodux joins a growing group of companies, land-owners and social and environmental organizations committed to improving forest practices on a global scale.

Adobe Reports Record Quarterly and Annual Revenue
Adobe Systems Incorporated recently reported financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Nov. 28, 2008.
In the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008, Adobe achieved record revenue of $915.3 million, compared to $911.2 million reported for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007 and $887.3 million reported in the third quarter of fiscal 2008. The company’s reported fourth quarter revenue was slightly above the preliminary revenue range of $912 million to $915 million it provided on Dec. 3, 2008.
“Despite a difficult economic environment in 2008, we were able to achieve record revenue and double digit growth for the sixth consecutive year,” said Shantanu Narayen, president and CEO. “In addition, our consistent execution and disciplined expense management enabled us to significantly exceed our profit targets. Although we expect 2009 will be a challenging year, we remain excited about the long term market trends driving our business, and are confident we will emerge from the current recession stronger than ever.”

Barry Malkin Joins C2 Reprographics as Senior Vice President & General Manager
Management and operations pro Barry Malkin has been hired by Costa Mesa-based C2 Reprographics as its senior vice president and general manager. He is in charge of operations at all four C2 locations in Orange and Los Angeles counties in California, handling sales and customer service issues and overseeing the firm’s sales efforts with company president and CEO Gary Crisp.
“Barry has a long career in management and entrepreneurship, which makes him eminently qualified for this important position,” noted Crisp.
The Cal Poly Pomona alumnus began his career as a retail hardware store owner, then spent 10 years in commercial flooring contracting in Riverside County. He worked as a sales manager for healthcare insurance provider PacifiCare/Secure Horizons before discovering his knack for the printing industry. As a branch manager for Kinko’s, he successfully turned around a large but unprofitable Laguna Hills location, winning company-wide recognition and moving up to become FedEx Kinnko’s Orange County Distrcit Operations Manager, where he was repeatedly recognized for high sales performance.
Seiko I Infotech Expands Its Product Portfolio for Outdoor Graphics Printing Worldwide
Seiko I Infotech (SIIT) announced that it is expanding its product portfolio for outdoor graphics worldwide.
SIIT has decided not to continue the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Hewlett-Packard to jointly develop and market low solvent-based large-format printers for the outdoor graphics printing market beyond December 2008. Beginning January 2009, SIIT will provide a wider range of products not only with its existing technology, but also with new technologies.
Masaomi Yoshioka, president of SIIT said, “We are committed to developing an extensive product line for the graphics market to meet our customers’ needs. An entry-level production printer will be introduced in spring 2009 in addition to other new products, to follow on the heels of the recently introduced ColorPainter H-104s and H-74s mild solvent printers and continue in the SIIT tradition of excellent engineering and outstanding performance.”
